short neck horses fed from ground

Question
hello sir, should i feed short neck horses from the ground or all my horses should be fed from the ground?

Answer
hi i usually feed my horses with a feed tub in the corner of the stall . about chest level  unless they are a bad bleeder or bad winded horse then i feed them lower to the bottom of the stall. if you feed hay, feed on the floor as if you hang a hay bag or fill the hay rack on the wall, then the horse will get a lot of dust in their throat. if you feed hay on the floor then they do not get as much dust . thanks ED HESS
