Looking up a retired racehorse

2016/7/15 11:26:06

Question
Hi, I was wondering about looking up a retired racehorse...
At my barn, I ride a lesson horse called Fred. I copied down his racehorse tattoo number, in hopes of somehow using that to discover more about his racing career. Do you know where/how I can do that?

Thanks :)

Answer
Hi Carrie:

Go to jockeyclub.com and you can find information on your horse for free (a new feature, it used to cost $35).  You'll  be able to input the tattoo number and find your horse's name and breeding info.
