Question
How can I trace my registered thoroughbred by his numbers (the ones
tattooed on his upper lip) I know he raced and would like to find out
about his finishes and breeding.

Answer
Holly,

For a small fee, (I believe it is $35.00)the Jockey Club will look up your horse's registered name and pedigree from his tattoo.  Then you a use that information to purchase his race records as well.  The jockey Club's website is www.jockeycub.com, and their contact information is listed there.

Good Luck!
