Question
How can you tell when a horse changes lead?  I have heard that if they don't change lead that it isn't good and they could tire out. Thank you in advance. Terry

Answer
hi--  well ,every horse does change his or hers leads during a race. they always start off on the right lead  out of the gate ,then change at the 3/8 pole ,and then back on a lead change at the top of the stretch. if you watch the horse very carefully  then you can see the horse switch. . right  left  eight. if they do not change their leads  they will get out in the race and tire out.  hope this helps tou  thanks ED HESS
