Identifying Jaw Issues in Horses: What to Look For

hello sir. is it possible to figure out if the horses has soft jaws or not by looking at them, touching their lips and jaws, placing our hand in their mouth?

hi -- no,  i have never heard that horses have soft jaws. i think you mean sore jaws. when a horse has a problem with their jaws, they will display it to you. act like there teeth are bothering them and funny acting when you put the bit in their  mouth.  thanks ED HESS
