Understanding Estrus (Heat) Cycles in Horses: Duration & Variation
Question hello sir, fillies and mares are in heat for how many days?
Answer hi -- well they have a cycle that they go into heat prob aprox 30 days. all horses differ from horse to horse., but i would say 30 days or so in heat. your vet can give them something to keep them out of heat if they get too difficult to handle . thanks ED HESS
