Understanding Horse Behavior: Addressing Stubbornness and Aggression
Question
hello sir, i'm from india. most of the grooms at our local racetrack told me that horses turn aggressive and stubborn if we dont slap them. are they correct??
Answer
HI WELL SOME HORSES DO NEED A LITTLE CORRECTION WHEN THEY DO SOMETHING BAD. LIKE TRY TO BITE YOU, OR TRY TO KICK YOU ETC. I THINK YOU CAN TEACH THEM NOT TO DO THESE THINGS BY THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE. I WOULD NOT SLAP THE HORSE TOO MUCH AS IT MAY MAKE THEM MEAN. KINDNESS IS ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO TREAT ALL ANIMALS. A TREAT WHEN THEY ARE GOOD . THANKS ED HESS
