hello sir.one of my friends is a jockey.while riding a horse in a race,the horse was inclined to hang in,(his whip was in opposite hand).do horses hang in due to whip phobia? sir how to fix this problem?

hi -- some horse do not like the whip at all, so if the rider hits the horse during the race, the horse will stop running and give up. you have to know what the horse likes before you use the whip on him. some horses run very well when you use the whip, it is all up to the horse after ALL  he is trying hard to win and if he is whipped , he may quit. thanks ED HESS
