Question
I worked for Reg Akehurst in 1979/80 , was looking to get some information etc eg  horses i looked after etc. can you point me in the right direction

You can try sites like brisnet.com, equibase.com and equineline.com to get information on thoroughbred runners.  I don't know if their detailed, computerized race records go much beyond 1984, however.  In any event, they would certainly have basic race records that would include the years in question.  There are also sites that specialize in European racing; you could do a Google search to identify those avenues.
