a real good horse just would not run strait?

Yes years ago I purchases a real nice horse but could not keep him from running
through the rail, sound familiar?

hi yes i have had a few horses that would get out in a race. we always looked for sore teeth, a sore in the mouth and also lameness which would cause him to try to run wide during a race. there was always run out blinkers  you could use on the horse , a one eyed blinker , and of course the run out bit.  hope that helps you.  thanks ED HESS
