benefits of jogging

2016/7/22 10:07:07

Question
I am sixty-three years old and have just started jogging.  I jog a varied route, hills, inclines, flat, of three miles in 35 minutes.  Is this fast enough for health benefits.  I have no trouble breathing through my nose, no puffing etc.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi Susan
The speed  you run has no bearing on getting your health benefits. The most important thing is to reap all the health benefits is the consistency over time and they will be enormous the longer you keep at it regardless of age.

Enjoy the journey
Susan and have some
fun along the way
