Runners high -- and low -- heart rates

2016/7/22 10:13:39

Question
My wife and I do about 30 minutes of cardio, either on the treadmill or elliptical machines.  Immediately following we usually do weights.  We were curious: do we need to "cool down" from the run before lifting?  Does it do our heart (or other parts) ill to just stop and start lifting weights?

Answer
Dear Joseph
The short answer NO.Get right into it and enjoy. The only concern i would have is if you have high blood preasure and then i would relax a little and use low weights high reps.If there is any thing else Joseph just get in touch.

The very best to you
John
