pulled calf

2016/7/22 10:07:09

Question
I try to jog for about 4 miles a day. Recently I'm having a reacurring lower calf muscle pull on my right leg. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Ernie
You have to build up slowly and let your body adapt.Be patient.I would alternate some walking and jogging until you can handle some steady running. In between i would ice them as often as you can to reduce inflammation. You have to relax and be patient until your body adapts which it will. You can not be in a hurry when it comes to getting back in shape.

All the best

John
