Good walking/jogging shoes

2016/7/22 10:11:35

Question
I am a 26 year old female at about 150pds. I just started to exercise for the first time in my life by walking about three to four days a week and now trying to incorporate a little jogging. It has been great and I have lost about 10 pounds doing this. But, I have pain in my knees during the walk and my right side. My body actually doesn't hurt after, its only when I am exercising. I am thinking part of the problem is I need a better shoe. What shoe do you recommend?
I appreciate any input

Answer
Hi Lori
Your body will adapt to your new program over time and you just have to have a lot of patience and being consistent.Start adding 500mg of vit c to your 3 meals a day to enhance muscle and tissue recovery. The most importnt part of the running shoe is they should feel comfortable right  a way when you try them on.I would reccomend any of the many brands such as nike, new balance.assics,aditas,etc.They all make good shoes, but all have a different feel.Just take your time finding the right feel.Any other questions just get in touch.

All the best

John
