Question
I am beginning a running routine so that I can be in better health, I was wondering if give some advise.  What are proper foods to eat and drinks to drink before I run?  Now I am limited on money because the place I live right now demands all of my time, so what are common things around that kitchen that I can get that aren't heavy foods before I run?

Thank You

Answer
Juice is a good carbo source for you, as well as small fruits, nuts, raisins, and such.  Sometimes some Gatorade works well about 30 minutes before a run, as it supplies some energy quickly to you.

Buy the powder mix to save a lot on the bottled sports drinks.
