Hill training

2016/7/22 10:11:55

Question
Is running stairs (or steps) a decent supplement for hill training? I have no good inclines in my vicinity and I'm hoping my local high school bleachers can help.

Thanks!

Answer
David,

Sorry about the delay, I was experiencing log in problems.

If there is no other possible way to run hills, and an incline treadmill is not available, then running stairs is better than nothing. Actually, they probably will be quite good, however, there is a heightened risk of getting hurt when you get extremely tired.
