Question
Hi Sarah, I my question is this: I've been running a good amount for almost a year now and after looking at some training programs I was wondering if I should rest two days a week(which I do now) or three days a week. Should I be doing more running on less days or less running on more days? I guess my goal is to maximize fat burning more so than increasing mileage. Thanks alot, you guys have been a real help to me lately.

Answer
It doesnt really matter whether its 2 or 3 days you take off it all depends how much training you are doing. If you are doing more miles then I would suggest taking 3 days off a week. I would say you should do one long slow run a week, a speed session and some cross training to maximise your fat burning.
