out of breath during running

2016/7/22 10:13:48

Question
i have a question. every time that i run, i usually tend to run out of breath because i get tired so easily. i don't know what keeps me from doing that, though. i don't have asthma or anything. what should i do in order to control my breathing when i run? more oxygen?

Answer
Amy,
If it is difficulty with breathing then you would need to check with a doctor about that.  If you just get tired, then slow down some and work your way back up gradually.  It might just be an issue of too much too quickly.  Slow down and see if that helps.  Still run for as long as you normally would, or a little longer, but a little slower.
Best of luck.  Feel free to follow up.
Ryan
