getting sick

2016/7/22 10:14:17

Question
Hello,
I'm a youth and I exercise everyday and that includes walking and running mostly walking though, because when I start doing running for awhile I get sick.
Not right away but after about a week of running 1 mile.

I keep doing this rollercoster running thing.

I run for oh say 6 days then on the 7th I feel awful, I get a little fever and my throat gets sore.

I really love to run too!
And I do it because it strengthens your leg muscles.

Do you know what's wrong?
Do you think even though I don't feel good I should still run?

Answer
Ash Lee:

Never run when you have a fever.  You may be over doing it a little.  When you first start out you should only run 2-3 days a week for about a couple of months until your body adjusts, then only should you increase the miles or number of days
