Jogging question

Question
John, my lower back pain is related to muscle strain, not the spine itself, can the pain possibly be related to jogging? Or can jogging aggravate it further?

Thanks,
Lou

Is jogging bad for your back?
Answer -
Hey Lou
Without knowing  if you have a back problem It would be hard to answer this but in general jogging improves the back like increasing the strenthening of the paraspinial muscles on either side of the spine for better support. If you have a direct question in regards to a problem just get back to me.

The very best to you Lou

Answer
Hey Lou
I don't think it is related to jogging. If you trace back when you first felt the pain or strain you can pin point it with 95 persent accuracy. It probably happened in the last three to five days or ten days. You could even strain it by just bending over slightly etc.Think real hard and track days.Jogging easy will not aggravate it depending on severity. You might want to walk instead and gradually get back. You want to apply ice only till it feels better. No heat.Lou if there is anything else just get in touch.

To your success
