overworking myself in the beginning

Question
hi, i just started climbing indoor (i've only been 3 times, and can only complete a beginners route toproping, and can barely complete a boulder by myself) and i'm wondering what is safe as far as amount of times to climb. I ask this because i was never very athletic before and i dont want to damage any of my muscles by going too often. is it ok to go 2 days in a row? how many times a week is safe for a beginner? I really enjoy this and want to get into it as much as i can, eventually venturing outdoors when it gets warm out.

Answer
Allison--the best guide comes from being attuned to your body--as with any other exercise, if you start to feel pain or muscle pull, stop.

Other wise be mindful of the uniques hazards in climbing--being dropped by your belayer---this happens more than anyone likes to say.

Good Luck,

George
