Puerto Vallarta

Hello.  I am going to Puerto Vallarta with my boyfriend who is IFMGA certified and a big time rock climber - Do you know of any nearby climbs?  Do you know what would be my best resource to find out?  Thank you.

Dear Jordan---I do not know of any climbing that is really close to PV. However, an article in an old Climbing Magazine described a lot of climbing near Guadalajara, MX---a few hours away. It was a lot of basalt in a canyon.

Rockclimbing.com is great place to go to hook up with people and information---they have a partners forum where you can find Mexican climbers.

The best climbing in MX is near Monterrey---it's El Potrero Chico.
