Would you let me know a name of equipment that is a kind of shock absorber attached to a harness when a climber falls from a wall?

I'm a beginner and looking for the equipment.

Yes, It's called a rope.
Get some instruction before you go out and hurt yourself.
I don't mean to be rude, however, I see more questions lately from beginning climbers who are spending money on equipment and not seeking the proper instruction.
