Question
Im in my second season of crew Im 160 pounds 6'4 and i pull a 7:24 2k is that ok?

Answer
Hi Henry: I don't know how old you are, which factors in to determining your relative ability on the 2K.  I will assume you are between 15 to 19.  Your time is below the average for lightweights in that age group.  The mean time is 7:18.4 and the median time (the 50th percentile) is 7:13.7.

You are not that far away.  Looking at your height and weight, I'd say you must be quite lean.  You definitely want to consider gaining 15-30 pounds of muscle through increasing your protein and calorie intake and integrating a muscle-building weight training routine in between your rowing workouts.  The added weight will definitely drop time off your 2K score.

Good Luck/AP
