Question
Hi! I'm a thirteen year old girl and I weigh 111 pounds and I am 5' 3''. I am very curious to know what good 2K times are for my weight and height and where I rank. My best 2K time was 8:54. Thank you so much!

Answer
Hi Alicia: Per the Concept II Database, the median time (50th percentile) for 13-14 year-old lightweight girls is 9:00.  So you are better than the average rower your age and weight.  You are just about in the Top-40%.  Considering that you are competing against girls weighing up to 135 pounds, that's quite good.

Good Luck/AP
