chain meal

this question is a little strange but here it is
where can i get a 1ft.sq.piece of chain meal the reason i am looking for this is to make a boot for my dogs paw that has been injured but he will not leave it alone no matter what i do and there is no such indestructable product available through a vet

Sorry about your dog's paw.  Chainmail can be spelled a few different ways, so it can be difficult to find info while searching on the Internet.  Try doing some searches using the terms "chainmail", "chain mail", "maille", or "chainmaille".

However, you might want to take a look around for different prices, styles, and metals that are available.  You might even be able to find someone who can make a boot for your dog's paw and/or give advice on how to fasten the boot to keep it in place.
