Freediving

QUESTION: Trace, Do you still teach freediving? I need to refresh my skills. I know couple guys who freedive at DS and teach Freediving but I they are not available now.

ANSWER: Yes, I still teach freediving. I usually start training in June after the water temperatures become more favorable to wetsuit diving. It takes me about a month to get back into freediving shape. I begin classes in July and run them periodically until October. The rest of the year and throughout the Summer I teach scuba and technical diving.

QUESTION: OK. I am going to Bahamas and I wish to do it now. Do you know really  good freediver who will make couple freedive with me next two weeks?

I no longer follow the message board for the northeast freediving community, but you could ask members of East Coast Freediver in Yahoo Groups if anyone can dive with you. If you are in the Bahamas, Cristina Zenato at UNEXSO is a good freediver and freediving instructor.
