Question
hi my name is steven and i just got into scuba diving about a year ago and im getting interested in free diving and i want to start to free dive but i need help with the training on how to hold my breath longer. do u have any ways that can help me hold my breath longer?
  thank you

Answer
Steven,

While breath holding may seem simple and natural, your best bet for extending breath hold times is to enroll in a freediving course and train and dive with experienced freedivers. Fatalities often occur when divers train by themselves without spotters or employ improper techniques. I'm sorry it took a long time for me to reply. I forgot to place myself on vacation from this site while away. Good luck!
