Model @ Date

I am trying to find out the Model and date of a Browning made in Belgium. It is a 20 Gauge with a Gold Trigger and the butt plate has FN on it. The serial number is 0Z 38897. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

You have a 1960 Auto 5 Shotgun.  The 0 preceding the Z in the serial number tells you it was made in 1960. The Z is the letter code for the 20 Gauge. Your shotgun should have a round knob pistol grip. Your next question will be about value. I no longer appraise sight unseen. Condition means everything to a collector.
