Question
Hello Doug...

I am considering buying a Ranger by Winchester model 120 20ga shotgun.  Is this a good gun?  Is it old, can I find ammo for it?

Thanks is Advance

Answer
Maurice,

The Winchester Ranger Model 120 was an entry level shotgun built by Winchester after 1964.  It is decent quality gun.  In brand new condition, it has a book value of only $200.  In 95% condition that value drops to $165.  Please bear that in mind when considering the price you pay.  Since the gun is of modern manufacture, any .20 gauge ammo should work fine.  You can pick up .20 gauge ammo at just about any sporting goods store that sells firearms, gun stores or even Wal-Mart.

Hope this helps...

Regards,

Doug
