leupold 2x7 scope serial # 535882 the stock was given a home done re-coat of
polyurethane about 15 years ago however we have been told by local dealers
that all of this gun is in very good condition. Local gun dealers are reluctant to
price it. what is it worth and how can he sell it?

Answer
Yours was made in 1961.
Between $1250 and $500 depending on exact condition.
If it truesly is very good condition its $1000
Plus $150 to $250 for the scope.
You could even ask a few hundred more.
Prices have been going up rapidly on these.
There some collectors interest.
