Browning .22 semi auto pistol

2016/7/22 9:15:28

Question
Sir,
I have recently acquired a Made in Belgium .22 auto pistol S# 51754U73. It has a 7" bbl, gold trigger, wrap around wooden grips.
I would be interested to know the model, the date of manufacture and where I could obtain genuine Browning magazines for the weapon, since it came with none. If these were not available, a source for aftermarket magazines. Thank You

Answer
Tom,

Assuming there is no engraving on the pistol, you have Grade I Challenger (standard grade). Contact www.commemorativearms.com for the magazines I'm sure they have original Browning magazines. You also see aftermarket magazines on gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com that will be considerably cheaper. Hope this helps.
