Question
what would one of the there guns be worth if had never been  fired and still had the  box the paperwork an all. what  was the reason for them to stop making guns

Answer
William,

Unfortunately, despite their name, Quality Firearms did not make good guns.  They were only in business for a couple of years (1990-1992).  A combination of poor quality guns and legal issues resulted in them going out of business.

Your gun was manufactured in 1990.  It was the only year Quality made the RP Series revolvers.  The MSRP for the gun in 1990 was only $105.

According to the current edition of The Blue Book of Gun Values, a 'new in box' specimen of the RP Series revolver in any caliber is only worth about $85.  If your gun has a chrome finish, you can add about $15.

Sorry I don't have better news for you...
