MAS 36 Bolt Action Rifle

2016/7/22 9:17:40

Question
I just read your response to another individuals question where you said he
more than likely had a MAS 36 bolt action rifle.  You described mine perfectly.
My dad brought it back from Vietnam where he captured it from a Viet Cong in
1968.  A neighbor wants to buy it and I have no idea what it might be worth.
Any thoughts?

Answer
Fred,

Here's the breakdown on values from the BlueBook of Firearms Values (current edition)

100% (new in box) $300
98%-$225
95%-$175
90%-$145
80%-$125
70%-$100

He may be willing to pay more than the BlueBook if he really likes it.

Best of luck,

Doug
