This 4-10 Iver Johnson one shot breakover ,barrel & lug formed in one.Serial # 41811.Patten appears to be 15-16.Has been in the family for years.Would like to knoe the age and value if possible.Retired after 50 years in law enforcement but know little about shotguns.

Your shotgun is an Iver Johnson Champion Model 36 Junior, manufactured from 1913-1922. With a 26" barrel and optional automatic ejectors ( at an additional cost ) the Model 36 Junior is valued today from $50-$100 depending on condition.
