Answer Hello Van. N.R. Davis was founded in the 1850's and continued as such until it was sold to Crescent Firearms Company in the 1930's. Your shotgun was most likely manufactured between 1917 and 1925. I suggest you go back to AllExperts .com and go to the FIND box in the upper right corner of your screen. There enter N.R.
