I have a sweet sixteen shotgun and would like to know the year and value of the gun. The # is 63s 87597 It is in perfect condition. It has a ribbed barrel with a black stock pad and has sweet 16 written on the gun carriage

Your shotgun was made in 1963. I'm not an appraiser, but I can tell you the added pad will hurt the value. The auto 5's came with plastic or bone butt plates from FN.
