Sears Roebuck Ted Williams 30-30 rifle

Question
I bought a Sears Roebuck "Ted Williams" model 100 30-30 Win. rifle from a friend from work a few years back.  I was hoping you could tell me what it is worth?  Is it collectable? And where I can find a manual for it.

Thank You.
Jeff

Answer
This is certainly a collectible rifle, although the value is only 100-300 dollars depending on the condition and age of the gun. The Ted Williams Model 100 is made by winchester and is pretty much a copy of the winchester model 94. As you may know Ted Williams was a professional baseball player and an avid outdoorsman that liked to hunt and fish. Sears teamed up with Ted Williams and Winchester to sell these guns under the trade name Ted Williams for the sheer publicity of it. Sears sold a boat load of guns over the years so the value is significantly less because of that.

I had no luck finding a manual for the ted williams model 100, there are plenty for the winchester model 94.
