central arms double 12 ga with hammer seral 51606

Question
How old and value

Answer
Brandon,

Central Arms was one of dozens of house brand names used by Crescent Davis Arms located in Norwalk, CT.  Crescent literally made thousands of inexpensive guns that were sold under the house brand names by various store chains and mail order catalogs.  They were inexpensive, utilitarian guns.  They are not considered collectable and have no real value other than as a shooter.  Certainly they can have sentimental value to a family member if they have been passed down, but in terms of the cash you might expect to receive in a private sale, they are probably not worth more than $50 depending on the condition.  Further, no repair parts exist for these guns anymore.

Crescent built these guns between 1930 and 1954.  No serial number records are available, so there is not much more to tell.

Hope this helps you out a bit...

Best regards,

Doug Little
