CA Police Handgun Standards: S&W vs. HK - Department Issue Insights

It is my understanding that CA city police are issued S&W 9mm or 40 cal.Have you heard of ANY department issuing HKs?

I doubt there are any large agencies issuing the HK, otherwise HK would point out that fact in its advertising. Doubtless there are agencies across the country that use the HK pistols, but the only one I know of for certain is the Loudoun County (VA) Sheriff's Dept.
