Harrington & Richardson Topper 158 Shotgun - Information & Details
Question
Im looking to buy a Harrington and Richardson maple handled pistol gripped shotgun. The total length is apprx 18 in. It is a Topper model 158 single shot 12 ga. Model #ag225316, I have been unsuccessful in finding any information on this particular weapon, Thanks.
Answer
Adam,
The topper was a single action break-open shotgun that was chambered for a variety of gauges in a host of barrel lengths. It was produced with a blued barrel and a hardwood stock. The gun was introduced in 1946 and in "good" condition would have an approximate retail value of $100.
Thanks for the question Adam.
