Your Auto 5 was made in 1953 by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium for Browning. I suggest you look at the Browning Auto 5 Book by H.M. Shirley and Anthony Vanderlinden. It is an excellent resource for Auto 5 information and can still be found on E-bay and probably Amazon.com.

I cannot answer to the value of the shotgun as a number of factors have to be considered of which the most important would be condition and originality. Hope this helps.
