will a 44 mag interarms revolver fire if it is dropped on the hammer.

I certainly would be interested in additional details concerning this if it is something that actually occured.

That said, yes........ my advice is always that any revolver (I know that some have transfer bars etc.) that is dropped on the hammer "could" discharge. Keep in mind that all of these systems are mechanical and as such can fail.

I cannot tell you with any certainty as to how many times dropped vs how many time it may discharge etc. So, I always advise as per the above.
