Finding a .22 Magnum Auto Pistol: Options & Information

My wife has asked me to find her a 22 Mag. auto pistol like her Ruger Mark II. Does anyone manufacture such a gun, I am having no luck finding out this information on the web?

You're right, .22 WMR autos are rather hard to find. The only one I've found is made by Excel Arms and is also available in .17 HMR.

I can't say I'm at all familiar with the company, but the pistol looks pretty solid just going by the photos. It is 100% US made and has a lifetime warranty. The price is pretty reasonable too. Here's a link:

There is, of course the Ruger Super Single Six, if you don't mind a wheelgun.
