Roller Rink

Question
Hello Pat,  I would like to know how to get started to build a roller rink here in Oceanside Ca. In North San Diego County.  I have done some intincial planning however I am stuck as to how to proceed about location and financing of the arena.  Help will be useful.

Hi Kevin,
 I wish I could be more help but I only teach skating. I've never been involved with the building or financing part of a roller rink.  

 The only thing I can tell you is to find a location where there's an established community of young people with kids and don't build to close to another roller rink.  Of course you would have to make sure the current zoning allows a rink or you can possibly go through the process of changing the zoning......which could be quite a bit of work.
