new roller rink

Question
I read your response to the person asking about a start up rink. I too am looking to open a "recreational center" with roller skating, indoor miniature golf, an arcade, batting cages, etc. I've been looking at several buildings ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 sq. ft. I've owned different businesses over the years and have always wanted to make a place for kids to go and stay out of trouble. I was curious to know the approximate start up cost, insurance and most of all, profit. If you would be able to give me some advise or point me in a direction of who to talk to, it would be very appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Answer
Hi Joe,
I'm very sorry but I never deal with that end of the business.  But if you want to email the rink I teach at the owner can help you out.  Go to www.SkateAurora.com   Look for the link where you can contact them.  I'll give him a heads up and in your email, mention that I (Pat Palmer) referred you to him.

Good Luck.....it sounds like you have your work cut out for you.

Pat
