Question
i am in the process of opening back up an existing rink in sc. the old skate floor is there from probaly 10 years or more ago which is concrete with bad cracks that were filled in but never leveled back out.I was wondering if you  had any reccomendations on how to get this floor smooth again besides re pouring the whole thing? thanks mox

Answer
Hi Mox,
I have to admit that I'm not an expert on flooring but I would imagine if you want to keep the same floor you would have to chip out the high spots entirely, re-fill them and make them level.  It can be done.  Then coat your entire floor with a polyurethane coating such as "Roll On" which is the coating that most rinks use.

I hope this helps a little bit.  Good Luck
Pat
