Question
I would like to know if in regards to exercise with roller blades or roller skates is one better for you than the other?

Answer
Bobbie,
This is the easiest question on skating I've ever had to answer. The answer is: No! Given the same skating format - in other words if a person on quads & another on inlines do the same kind of skating for the same amount of time - there should be no difference in calories burned or muscles affected or any other collateral benefit I can think of. Hope that answers your question fully. Roll On!!! Lezly (Lezly Skate School NYC - estab. 1979)
