Rollerblades vs Roller skates

2016/7/21 18:00:26

Question
Hi,
I've been rollerblading for sometime now and have gone through a set of wheels so I was going to replace them but the price difference between a set of wheels and brand new rollerskates is negligible. I'm only interested in speed (not agressive) and was wondering if you could tell me which is best. Rollerblades or rollerskates?

Thanks,
Sam

Answer
Hey Sam,
If you are looking at rollerskates that are close to the  price of a set of inline wheels, you are looking at garbage skates that would not serve you well for speed sksting or any kind of serious skating. Inline skates are faster than quads at any rate - so if it's speed you want - get a good set of  hard wheels with  ABEC 7  bearings. God speed - roll on!.........Lezly (Lezly Skate School NYC) [email protected]
