Marker titanium 1200 and Kastle FX 74

2016/7/15 11:36:36

Question
Hi,
I was wondering if it is ok to put the old Marker Titanium 1200 (non piston version) on the Kastle FX74 skis.  I have a set of these bindings that are almost new and wanted to see if I could make use of them.  Since they are old models, I'm just not sure if they're a good fit for these Kastle's.  Anyhow, any insights into this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Thomas

Answer
Hey Thomas,

Those Marker bindings should work fine on the Kastle skis. If you plan to mount them yourself, be sure to put on the boots and test the settings prior to skiing on them. You might be able to get a shop to mount them but if the bindings are very old, a shop may not work on them. They can check to see if the bindings are on the indemnification list. If they are, a shop will work on them. If not, the you will have to do it yourself. When bindings go off the list, the manufacturer will not take any liability for them so a shop won't either.

Hope this helps.
Keep on skiing,
Windlover
